At the start of term we were finishing off our Europe project. We spent one afternoon in groups building models of European landmarks. We were given 50 straws, 25 pipe cleaners, a roll of tape and 15 paperclips to make our models. We then judged each others models and gave them points based on the likeness of the model, strength and height.

These are really interesting. I think I might try this idea next time I do Europe. That tower of Pisa is leaning nicely!

I really liked looking at the models of famous European landmarks, especially the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Are any of them the Coliseum of Rome?
