A lot of the children use some of the more common dialect words day to day such as “peerie” (small) and there is a lot of other words or phrases that are dialect as well. We are doing a lot of dialect work this term and hope to have a language and art display we have been working on ready before Easter.

The secondary pupils in the web site lunctime activity were impressed by the “Thunder” poem. It’s good to hear the dialect spoken rather than just written.

Great work on flashing lights. Maybe you could attempt some simple modular electronics or use a 555 Timer in a project. I bet some of you could attempt some simple computer programming!
